The blog began with Rob Gilmour as something to fill the wee quiet hours of the day, Fintan Traynor soon joined the project and the interest received increased drive between the two guys, until eventually a third Empty Glass was added to the team, Shane Mc Nally. Now several insterested souls have thrown pen to paper and began to scribe their notes from their various gastronomical adventures. The blog, now approaching it's second (thrid? fourth?) birthday, has gained itself some humble notice from the Irish food and drink community and from here the goal is to continue pushing Empty Glass forward, to fill as many glasses with drinks that will be savoured and emptied by our growing readership.
